Success and Failure of Psychic Readings
It is a very common assumption that most people have about the psychic reading that persons with psychic abilities can exactly predict the future and guide them to fortunes. One should not forget that the psychics are after all human beings, they are also made of flesh and bones as anyone else, and only God is perfect, I think. Thus, we shouldn't be expecting the psychic reader to be perfect in all psychic readings.

1) David Icke: He used to play soccer for UK. In 1991 he announced that he was getting signals of future events to come from God, Jesus Christ and Socrates. He predicted that due to disorderly vibrations that were created due to Tiananmen Square Massacre and Sicilian mafia, there would be an explosion in Mount Rainier, US. He did not give any specific date for this event to take place. Some of his other predictions include collapse of Texas oilfields, submerging of New Zealand, demolition of Naples Cathedral, and the collapse of the Channel Tunnel. In the same year he forecasted an earthquake having a magnitude larger than 8.0 will strike Greece, the island of Arran in Cuba, the mountains of Kent and Teeside.
2) Jeanne Dixon: She has a string of predictions which have gone wrong. In 1956 she told that in 1960 a democrat would be elected as the president and would die in office, but couldn't see it happening during his first term. As the 1960 election came closer, she retracted her previous prediction and said that Richard Nixon would win the elections. She also predicted a biological war with China in the year, 1958. Then in the 1980's she forecasted that earth would collide with a big comet and that the US will now have a woman president. Dixon also foretold that the Catholic Church would be dissolved before 1990, in her psychic reading. She left this world in the 1990's.
3) Edgar Cayce: He was a great psychic whom some even considered as a prophet, he was born in 1877. He was widely appreciated for his detailed psychic readings in the beginning of 20th century. Edgar predicted in 1934 that a part of Atlantis, called Poseida the lost city, would emerge from Atlantic Ocean in either 1968 or 1969. He even foretold that the earth will break up in the western part of US, and a large part of Japan will submerge in the sea. The upper part of Europe shall be altered in a flash of the moment.
Land will emerge on the east side of America. Arctic and Antarctic will go through disturbances which will cause volcanoes to erupt in torrid areas, and also the poles will be shifted. The freezing poles shall have a look similar to tropical areas and moss and fern will be seen. This was to take place between 1958 and 1998. Other forecasts were the unearthing of a death ray by 1958, China becoming mainly Christian by 1968, and the end of Great Depression by 1933.
Our World has seen many disasters. Both man induced and natural ones that have never been the part of any psychic reading.
