Psychic Readers: The Famous Ones
During so many years of psychic reading, there have been so many psychics who have been labeled notorious for their work. The following is a list of some of those psychic readers.
1. John Edward: He is an American Psychic medium, who has a large following of believers. He has been highly accurate in his psychic readings in which he tells the messages from the spiritual world and gives a comprehensive description of his visions.
2. Helen Duncan: She was born in 1898 in Scotland. She held séances in spiritual churches or in the houses of her believers where she would summon the virtual forms of loved ones. On a specific occasion, she brought the spirit of a soldier who was currently working in the Royal Navy. People present in the séance were unaware that the soldier had died. Hours later, the news came that the ship on which this soldier was present had sunk. She was accused and found guilty of faking and fraud in 1933. A £10 fine was thus imposed on her. But this was not enough to deter her and she continued with her psychic readings. In 1944, one of her psychic reading sessions was raided by the police. One of the officers tried to hold the ectoplasm originating from her body, claiming it to be a sheet.
But to his amazement, he couldn't hold on to the substance. Later, she and 3 of her companions were charged with conspiracy, without there being any evidence against them. Eventually in the court the charges of conspiracy and vagrancy were filed against her and she was booked under the witchcraft act' 1735. Many witnesses took the oath, and told the court of Helen's accuracy in psychic reading, but she was still sent to jail for a period of 9 months. Helen continued her psychic readings till 1956, when the police raided her séance. She fell ill after the raid and died within 5 weeks in the country of her birth.
3. Lucy Hale: She was an English psychic reader and lived in Oxfordshire. Since childhood she used to attend the Spiritual Churches of the area. She was a hard worker and did psychic readings till she was in her 80's, putting 40 years in this field. Lucy also used to do some church work, till she passed away in 1994 after a brief illness.
4. Jose' Arigo: He was a psychic healer and was born in 1918 in Brazil. Once when he was visiting a relative who was on their death bed, and when her last rites were being read out he suddenly took a kitchen knife and removed a tumor from inside the woman. This is when he realized his powers to heal. As the news of his miracle spread, people started pouring in and he used to treat them. He used to say that the spirit of a German Doctor would take over him when he performed the cures. He had mastered the art of performing surgery with any instrument he could find. He was arrested in 1956 for illegally practicing medicine.
5. Daniel Dunglas Home: A Scottish physical medium who was born in Edinburgh, in March of 1833. He moved to America in 1842 with his family, and later moved in with his aunt in 1850 when his mother died. In the aunt's house strange things started to happen like sounds were heard out of no where or the furniture would move on its own in the house. His aunt tried to get help from the ministers to rid Daniel of the curse, but the ministers said that this was a reward from God to carry out His work. He used to hold the psychic reading sessions in the afternoon to dissuade skeptics. During these sessions different noises could be heard. The furniture would vibrate or rise above the floor or even tilt.
Some other unusual happenings like levitating furniture or people, materializing and playing of musical instruments on their own or hands coming out of no where and writing on pieces of paper used to happen. He retired from psychic reading in 1873, and succumbed to TB in 1886.
Tarot Psychic Reading Tip #1
During a psychic reading, never reveal any personal details; con artists may use it to gather information about you and flesh out a reading. |
Tarot Psychic Reading Tip #2
A few online or phone psychic reading firms will offer you the initial few minutes of your reading free. This will give you adequate time to distinguish if the reading is correct or not. Even a real psychic may get some points incorrect and you will never come across anyone who is 100% accurate in all the readings. They are after all humans, and not perfect receptors. If you find the reading is inaccurate you need to conclude it and try it some other time. |
Tarot Psychic Reading Tip #3
In a case where the Psychic makes predictions about your life and most of it is wrong. Then do not listen any further. In such a situation do not act on his or her advice. |
